Desk job can be stressful which could affect your health in one way or the other. When you are always seated at all times, it could be strenuous to your bones and joints. Check your posture

When seated on your office chair, make sure you are close to your desk, let your upper hands be rested on the desk surface. When you notice your elbows are not at a 90-degree angle, try to settle the chair to balance as necessary. Make sure you are comfortable with the sitting style and if you feel waned try take a break, stretch your arms and legs.

Don’t be seated too high

When you sit on a chair too high for you, there is high possibility that your ankle will swell, at least 10 to 15 percent of people experience ankle swelling when sitting on a chair too high for them, it’s worse when one might have some health problems in their thighs or legs which could increase the odds of swelling in lesser time. It is advisable to seat high as 16 to 21 inches off the ground.

Raise your feet in certain situations

if the chair or desk is too high for you to lift your feet off the ground, try to adjust the chair. If it cannot be adjusted, opt for a footstool to give your feet some comfort instead of letting it hang lose all day. With a footstool, the pressure on the feet will lessen the pain on the foot at the end of the day.

Raise your work surface if needed

You are one with long legs consider adjusting the height of your work desk, doing this will make it possible for you to raise your chair to a more comfortable position and will give your back some unusual comfort.

Support your back

Your work chair should have some support fitting that can be adjusted to suit any sitting style you want. Go for a chair that has cushioning that will thrust your back forward when you lean back in the chair.
